William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

This summer, Entity Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s best-loved comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Theatron, Westpark.
THE STORY
Athens. Four young members of the nobility run away to the forest only to have Puck, Oberon’s fairy, make both of the men fall in love with the same woman. Why? An honest mistake. The result? Confusion, despair and a lot of chasing each other. Incidentally, someone is transformed into a donkey, with whom the Fairy Queen, Titania, promptly falls in love. Also, a wall will make an appearance, as do lion and moonshine. And, of course, William Shakespeare. Lord, what fools these mortals be!
Adaptation and direction by Conny Loder & John Yates, produced by Ken Lawler & Peter Heinz.
Performances will last approx. 90 minutes. Simply bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy our abridged version of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
